A little about me
Many interests.
One common thread.
You’re probably here because you want to know more about me, who I am and why I am here.
What you see today is the result of decades of learning, adapting, creating, reinventing, and becoming.
My journey is about finding who I am, where I belong, and what I am here to do.

People, purpose & possibility
A life built
around connection.
I’m the founder of NIBA and the host of Tómasdóttir, a podcast exploring identity and belonging across cultures.
Living between cultures informs the way I listen, create, and work. I care about the connections that help people turn experience into opportunity.
That takes different forms: a conversation, a brand, a website, or time given to a community. The starting point is always curiosity about the person on the other side.

Belonging grows
through participation.
I contribute through volunteering, advocacy, and public dialogue. My focus is on opportunities for women, immigrants, and young people.
Participation
Creating room for people to contribute their time, experience, and ideas.
Opportunity
Connecting people with the knowledge and relationships that help them take their next step.
Advocacy
Bringing more perspectives into conversations about our shared future.
